The code for Leeds is 0113 so not sure where the call is from but there used to be a call centre there for BTCellnet - is this O2 nowadays but not sure if still there.**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0 -

01701 is an unnassigned area code, so either you have upset the MI5/CIA or this guy some sort of fraudster, perhaps operating out of a foreign call centre which has hacked the caller ID system.
O2 do have a call centre in Leeds though (although a frauster could easily get this info to make them seem more genuine...)0 -
and it's got more digits than a UK phone number0

And it starts 555.... just like every TV character's american phone number0 -
I wondered if it is American, in which case North Dakota - seems improbable somehow, unless it's some voip system0

(I just checked that and it is now just 555-0100 to 555-0199 which are not issued, but the number is still within those boundaries).
The same is done in the UK, although the 'reserved' prefix is different for different cities.0
