Help with mysterious text message

Dh text me earlier today to ask if I had entered him in any competitions as he had received a text on his mobile phone. I'm very guarded about giving out our phone numbers and am certain I've not given out his mobile number.
The text says:
"Entry has been logged. Draw notification via SMS. For removal send STOP to 87239 customer services 08708034412"
I don't want to text or phone the numbers provided but I am worried that if it's not legitimate, he may be getting charged for receiving texts.
We do not download anything like ringtones etc, so it can't be from anything like that.
The phone number isn't listed on saynoto0870. Is there any way I can find out where it originates from?

Wow, that was quick! Thank you. How did you find it? I've been trying all sorts of searches and couldn't find anything.

Just tried that 0870 number - the lady said they're a customer services company called Final Delta who work in tandem with mobile phone companies, so they handle subscriptions and cancellations to mobile services. It sounds as if someone's subscribed your number by mistake.
