Sorry, but what are 'ninjas-of-colour'? What does that mean?

They are green! I remember my brother playing with them a lot.

What are your predictions for tomorrow?

I also had an inkling they would open below 4000 today. They currently stand at 3825 from where I am looking (http://finance.yahoo.com).

You are not seriously playing guess the stock exchange? I think it was taken in jest yesterday.

It is in jest today too, but still interesting to see what the general consensus is! Of course no one is going to bet their whole financial future on what is said in this thread :S
  • Whats criminal is the ability for companies like hbos to end up with mixed debt with 0% backing to it and give it a good debt rating when it was worth less then a junk bond, etc
Thats what went seriously wrong, they mislabelled everything or these companies never would have taken these risks

I think hazarding guesses on the FTSE is much safer compared to doing so on the Dow. I have more or less stopped following the Dow till around 8 pm when the last hour of trade starts and the sustained rally, or more often, the sustained crash sets in, thanks apparently to the Hfnds. It then becomes safe to predict where the FTSE will open, within decent tolerance limits the next day.

FTSE will open up 4% on today's close. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
