please somebody - HELP ME...

A while ago I phoned Orange to get a MAC number so that I could change suppliers. I was told by the nice man at cancellations - that because I had been such a good customer for so long they would give me a special deal. Bells and whistles... Nice! so I stayed. Then I started getting charged for the inclusive calls I made from the second line. Spoke to Orange and basically they say tough - i.e. they will not honour the contract.... What can I do? PS this is the first time I've come on here - so excuse anything I have done wrong.

Do you have anything in writing from Orange re the special deal?
  • How long ago was it, because you may be entitled to cancel the contract under the distance selling regulations - do a google search for distance selling regulations.

Could also spout about the Sales of Goods Act and misrepresentation, they usually back off them. Also, try the citizens advice bureau.
