 Read in the 'Times yesterday that the wholesale price of gas from importers to wholesalers was 0p/therm on Sunday. With such a glut of gas,one wonders why Mr Brown doesn't step in and sort out this rip-off.

  • Because our energy companies have invested virtually none of their profits in storage facilities, we as a country are not in a position to take advantage of prices like these to any extent. Bring back nationalisation (the GB population now already own substantial %tages of our major banks, of course) and invest the profits back into the country, not abroad.
