if their diet is a good one and they eat sensibly, then they can have a little of the same pudding as everyone else.

my diabetic nurse told me all diabetics should be eating:

high fibre, low fat, low salt and low sugar, not no sugar. a little is ok providing you are eating sensibly.

really, its the sort of diet that everyone should be eating.

the organisation that used to be called the british diabetic association has great books with really good recipes.

Hey all. It's my Sister's Birthday in a few weeks and I plan to make her a cake put inside a pretty cake tin for her present, and perhaps some biccies. However she is a diabetic and it needs to be something she can eat.

Does anyone have any good recipes or websites I can browse to get her something nice?

    TIA :)

    Hi Wss

From memory there are a few threads which should help you.

    Baking for diabetics

    Sugar free baking

    Cake recipes for diabetics

That's all I can find at this moment - i thought there were more....

I'll merge this later. That second thread has some other links within too, to an external website.
