Oooops mis-read that, always worth double checking with BA on the phone if the fare is SFU.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

See what the guys at FLYERTALK.COM think.
Just another point - are you sure you've been upgraded to F as if you have you should be a fairly regular flyer with BA and probably top notch, we'll do anything for you sir, status in the Exec club and should really know what you can get with 10,000 miles. (just checking don't get uptight)
Hi Chalky,
No,
I won't get uptight... It was just the other poster making me look greedy that got on my nerves a bit. Yes, we have flown BA many times before but only on European flights and always economy, so far from a top customer. My OH never had BA miles because she mostly flies with TAP Air Portugal when going back home. It's the first time she flew long-haul with BA.
Yes, she has been given an upgrade to first class next time she flies with BA, we have the confirmation plus a discount voucher worth £50 for her and one for my daughter and the 10000 miles. It may look like a good deal now but it took a lot of faxes, daily calls to find the whereabouts of the lugage, letters and emails, so lots of complaints. Not only we complained to their third-party lost lugage company but also to customer relations and a couple of other departments. The upgrade was not part of the "goodwill gesture" but two calls to one of the customer relations managers made them offer it.
But just to my OH, not to my daughter.Member 7 of 100 to 10k - £100 to £10k = £1490 -
If it's an upgrade from economy then snap their hands off, if it has to be from Club then still not a bad deal but you'll have to spend a bit of brass to buy the ticket in Club to start with, but they do sometimes have sale fares for Club.**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service?
