I know what you mean but I think it's hard to get the balance right, it's good to be critical of posts but sometimes the humour is lost or the comments are taken to heart when that wasn't the intention.
Anyway, back to the deal, I'm waiting to order a USB stick, when is it going to happen? Are Ladbrokes giving odds yet?
Darent say, i will get shot down again, but guess what? We are still waiting.:rotfl:0 -
Some rather impatient people here, eh?0

Many Thanks for the heads up OP.Will look forward to taking advantage of this offer just like many others will hopefully benefit.
Please please, comments would be so joyous to read if they were kept civil...believe me, there are far more real serious things to get het up over in this world!:beer:0 -
Thanks ukmonkey. I have a £10 voucher that I've been saving - I can now (in fact very shortly) use it for any old cr4p that happens to catch my eye and I won't have to pay extra for free postage.
Congratulations on keeping your sense of humour and decorum in the face of some ignorant and impatient trolls. There is no excuse for rudeness. Ignorance on the other hand is excusable – you don’t know what you’re talking about.0 -
He is still here laughing at a big brave first post.
What difference does his post count make? Shall I sit here and laugh at your post count too? Nahhh...I'll just laugh at your amazing ability to embarrass yourself so totally by your constant digs at the OP.
OP, good post. Thanks for the heads up.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Pealy, is there really any difference between my comments and the ones aimed at me?
No, but try telling the sourpusses that.
Yes, there is. You've been overly critical of the OP for posting this thread. Right from the very start, you've been aggressive and sarcastic towards him and others. People have chosen to defend the OP because they think the information is good and believe your responses are out of order. If you don't like the thread, why are you still here responding to it? I reckon you're here trolling, as you're obviously only interested in getting a rise out of people. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Looks like this is correct, this is from today's Daily Telegraph. :T

Thanks for the heads up, OP.
There is a book I want off Amazon but I've been waiting till I want something else to make up the £15, but I'll treat myself when the postage price drops.
Thanks (and ignore the people who are having a go.... hopefully they will come back and apologise when the postage reduction goes live!)I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
How annoying have Amazon been today?
They email loads of us to say it's now £5 min spend for free delivery and advertise this in national press too BUT DON'T ACTUALLY CHANGE THEIR WEBSITE!!
Still £15 min spend. Terms & conditions haven't changed. My basket of £12.35 apparently still needs £2.59 to qualify for free delivery.
Poor form Amazon!
ALSO: Important note about Nectar points for Amazon purchases
I had an email from Nectar today to say that due to a technical problem, click-throughs from Nectar to Amazon did not work from 9-15 Sept and you have to email them details of transactions to get your point. At least on this one they have offered double points by way of apology.0
