At the end of my current deal I'll have had over 4 years of almost continuous 0% from my Virgin card.

    Hi ALL

It is very rare that i request a repeat from any mbna run card, just apply for another one and move credit facility from old one to new (and add to new cl on new card) leaving £100 on old card ready for the repeat when it comes, mbna will let you hold upto 5 accs per person (i run 8 between me and mrs R)
If you have maxed out your total credit with them then just move some off an existing acc to open a new one (this has worked for 8 years for me ...and only twice have they said "no" to yet another card...but a few weeks later the repeat always appears in the post !!

I have in excess of 120K with mbna between me and mrs R (or should i say mbna have over 120K with me ...hahaahhaa!!)

Also by having more accs you get more repeats and can help keep your pot level far more consistent.

If you want a higher limit JUST ask ...the place to ask is BT stage (either or form or or phone ) my stock request is 20K cl ...do i always get it ? no ..but i quite often get 15K ...which will do nicely ....

Mbna will give great limits if you negotiate properly, my highest one a single card was just under 60K ...altho this has been spread around others since ...currently top 2 are 33K and 26K ...both fully stoozed !!

fantastic Rodent, so when the 0% repeat comes on the lowered £100 CL card you call and request an increase, having already transferred the healthy c£15k from it to the new card prior to dropping to £100 ?

but don't they just say hang on you've got c£15k CL with us so the increase from £100 will be very low ?

depends on your financial status! ...just accept whatever they give you and then tx cl back off the other card (time this for deal ends) and leave 100 for repeats there .......but as stated i usaully apply for a new card to get timing right ..ie at end if a deal so i can start a new one straight away.

Over period of time the combination of new cards (upto 5 per person) repeats and cl increases gives a very healthy and consistent ongoing stooze pot ...

    Are you stoozing or rate-tarting?

What are the limits/balances on the other two MBNA cards?
  • stoozing.

my other 2 balances are £1,000

    and £2000 both paid off.
