how many weeks gone is the mother to be TODAY ?

6 weeks, I think. (Going by 40 weeks is the total length of pregnancy, the first day of last period probably would have been around September 1st, so it would be around 6 weeks now)

Counting backwards from the 8th June is 34 weeks. So 40 - 34 = 6 weeks gone.
(date of last period would have been 1st Sept)

Are congratulations in order?

Conception would have usually been around 4 weeks and 1 day ago as dates are worked out from the first day of the last period.

Hope that is what you wanted to hear

Yes !!!

(although we havent told anyone yet...!)

My OH has told work but she has to wait for official confirmation from the nurse(mid wife) before they accept it officialy ?

My OH has an outhouse, I never ask what happens in the outhouse but he always seems to disappear when I feel a touch of rage coming on
