Hairdresser colour mistake - complain?

Thanks and don't worry about being a dark cloud! I now feel more confident to go back there if it does fade as it went so well yesterday.
The replies on this thread have really helped me to sort this out and I don't think I would have been so confident yesterday if it wasn't for you guys :beer:

Hi - glad it all worked out for you in the end.

They dont seem to be telling you exactly what they are doing though - it does not sound like they applied a semi to me - that would not last more than 6-8 washes if a true semi.

You can not lighten hair without bleach, so when she says it was a blonde tint, it was bleach!

This is not technically correct - you can lighten natural hair (hair that has not previous tint on it) with a tint! It is only previously tinted hair that cannot be lightened with a tint!
