This morning, I googled icesave and I came to this link:
http://www.prsavingsteam.co.uk/index2.htm
It might be a relief for some people.
However, I take this as.... someone who is trying to exploit our misery!

Looks like they will fill out a form for you at a cost of a minimum of £250 or £450 + VAT0
-
I suppose it shows how desperate solicitors are at the moment - with no houses to sell, they're resorting to as you say charging £450 to fill a form in.0

Confirms everthing I've always thought about solicitors.0

Just another form of ambulance chasing.0

these sharks wont get a penny from me.
the FSCS will sort it for all Icesavers, paying any solicitor isn't necessary0 -

Oh boy don't get me started on that one if you ever find a good one please tell me:mad:0 -
Ah well, that's Philip Ross & Co off my Xmas card list!
Only to be expected from a possibly dodgy solicitor anyway. Makes a lot of the others look decidedly angelic!0 -
Ambulance chasing scum at their very best.The_Site wrote:In addition to the above, we will charge £15 + Vat to verify any uncertified identification documents.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

.......very generous. And I'll also require the shirt off your back and your first born male child Sir.
I'm not sure I've learned my lesson after parting with my hard earned to the Icelandic nation so I might give these guys a call and give them the last of my cash. I mean, the FSCS aren't charging me, maybe they'll just run off with my money & my wife.0 -
Of course we could corral 300,000 IceSave savers to send them an email saying roughly:
"In these traumatic times, it was very reassuring to find that your company could handle this for me. Please can you send me more details urgently as I've been very concerned [or better still: Please phone me at your earliest convenience]"
If even a fraction of 300k people did that, it would
a) have them creaming themselves over how much money they are going to make
b) seriously s**w their email system/call back team
And then when they get a corresponding number of "f*** of you thieving little s'bags emails phone calls maybe they will get the message.
Apologies for the language, but if by any chance they had a list of IceSave etc. etc. customer some how, and emailed this c*** out to them, you can bet that the ones who would fall for it are precisely those that can't afford this c***.
I don't have anything against solicitors in generat, but this is pretty diabolical.0
