Check on line banking
Put expenses and mobile phone recycling cheque in the bank (early skive from work to do this too!)
Check quidco and dream of the payout!
Take photo of dress I want to sell on Ebay (too big and only worn once, nice Calvin Klein jobby from when I was flush!)
Clean house after work
Take doggy for nice long walk after work to get some free exercise
Try to do budgeting for next month (payday tomorrow- at last!)
That's enough for day cos I'm supposed to be working too!0 -
Olive Oyl - I'm so sorry you're having a rough day. I'd like you to know that I read your diary and your advice to people in trouble and I always think what a fantastic kind strong lady you seem. I hope your day gets better for you.

morning all  ,
had a row with oh this morning... he thinks heating should be on whilst he is at home but i was too hot and turned it off last night and so it didn't come on this morning. i can see his point because he has serious back problems and cold makes it worse but it wasn't cold   have made up with him now
- despite row i made him pack up for today
- collected petrol mower from freecycle - looks really good and am quite excited about it! but am too scared of it to try it on my own - will have to wait until oh gets back and be nice to him - going to collect two radiator airers from freecycle soon too!
- got chicken portions out of freezer for mini roast dinner to use up parsnips and potaotes later
- will bake some cakes whilst oven is on - have now given up with being cross with lodger for demolishing last choc cake whilst drunk (have found a hiding place for the next batch!)
- cats doing their taste test work so free food for them :j didn't like it so had to have go-cat biccies instead
- got my two dvd's from blockbuster / quidco today :T
- didn't do any avon yesterday so was very very bad - will try again today...
- got to locate cv ready for elf interview on friday :santa2:
- will try and file some paperwork as got a big box full of stuff that i keep having to look through.. do not want to do it
hope everyone has a lovely sparkly day!

question to all... i found some left over pastry in fridge from last weeks quiche - can you still use nearly a week old pastry??? - going to do a flan case and eat a bit off the side just to check before making quiche filling!! thank-you to sophiesmum for reassurance - i am really not very confident with pastry yet!
- also have organised milkman!! have been thinking about it for a while and someone else mentioned it so had a look at website and think it will be good for us as if oh has to pop to shop we always end up with 'extras' like sweets! have also ordered ginger beer and milkshake so will see how it goes!it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:0 -
ssssshhhh please no one shout, I had a run in with a bottle of wine last night and it won. Just crawling out of bed and when I feel a bit more human I will post my list for the day.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0

Morning everyone
Still trying to get my act together, I seem to be very clumsy today, a left-over from the migraine I think. Thank you all for your good wishes and I do feel much better now!
I am going to the library at lunchtime to give back the "lost" book, this is going to be so embarrassing.... I can't believe how many times I must have gone past it on the stairs
Perhaps I should vacuum the the stairs daily, but on the other hand, perhaps not...
Oh andan, thanks for my new obsession
have inputted gas and electric figures, am now excitedly waiting for next Monday for whatever the site spits out at me!
Here comes the paltry list!
come to work
bought in breakfast and lunch
go to library to return lost book
make a loaf
post an Amazon sale
make a payment a day
ride horse
ps, in case you're wondering what has happened to the saddle fund, my car is being MOT'd and serviced Saturday, so hanging on to extra money just in case I need to use it there instead. Hopefully, I'll be able to pay off more come Monday - fingers crossed for dear old car...Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I'm intrigued with that one...:rotfl:
Re the pastry Loki - if it has been in fridge since then, in a bag or something keeping it fresh, it should be fine to use. I quite often amke a batch of pastry and keep in a bag in fridge for a while:D0 -
Goodness, I missed that one!!! A potential elf in our midst, how exciting :TTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
