    You can't use search on the old version now anyway so you're not missing out ;)

    Has anyone managed to log into Retail Eyes this week? When I submit my email address and password it just brings me back to the same page, no error message but I can't 'get in' as it were. I see others have had an issue but has anyone found out why its playing up?
    This is what I get if I type my password incorrectly. I can log in atm.

    Having another panic! This time it's Gap (again!). Just ordered a pizza delivery and had to agree to a meal deal - in as much as the bloke said it will cost x but what you've ordered is what's required for a meal deal so it will cost you x instead. I couldn't refuse without alerting suspicion!

    Are Gap going to be awkward about this? I notice it says don't use coupons but I can't see anything about don't use a meal deal - I've ordered exactly what the instructions tell me to. How could I refuse a couple of quid knocked off the bill without looking odd? It's already costing me more than the reimbursement so a little off the bill is nice (although still costing more than the reimbursement). I don't think I'll be doing these again - too much hassle!

    Has anyone else come across this please?

    I've ordered meal deals before and not had a problem getting paid as long as they include all the stated items.

    I have an OC supermarket job, (my first) can anyone tell me, on the stock check list, do I have to look for everthing? there's about 100 items!
    :eek::eek::eek:

    TIA!

    Yes you have to find everything if it's the one I've been doing. I cut and pasted the items into a slightly more manageable list to look like a shopping list. If it is the same job, you can ask the manger to find anything you can't after the reveal. I actully enjoy these ones, though I can't go into our local branch to do any normal shopping as the staff all know me now...

    Oh, and I forgt to say - if you haven't managed to get any sense out of Barclays regarding the payments from abroad, then no they don't charge a fee. The exchange rate business is a bit hit and miss, I agree, though there have been jobs where I've made an extra profit because of it.

    RE .... when I got home after not being able to do a job, there was an email in my inbox (timed 5.30pm!) saying the client had decided not to go ahead with the job - I was scheduled to do it any time between 4.30pm and 7pm. I was there, took pictures to prove it, and have sent them the pix, and asked for some level of reimbursement, as I did actually go there, never mind the fact that they cancelled it so late. What are my chances, does anyone know?
    2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • I am a bit late this year in doing my tax return. So I have started to do it online. I have till the end of Jan don't I? Also do I have to work out the tax that I owe or will the tax office do it for me? I have not submitted it yet. I am going to working on it over the weekend so there will be lots of question that I might be asking.

  • Sorry to go on about this, but I'm really uncomfortable about this BARE job. How can I cancel it? I can't access all the notes I need to be prepared for the call and really feel it's a lot of hassle for a low fee... but I've never really learned how to say no. Can anyone advise me please?
