Guys, I'm filling in the report for my first ever job with GR. In the box asking how long before I was approached, I want to choose "immediately/within a minute" but it's not clickable, it's greyed out. There doesn't seem to be a comments box on the report that I can explain this in, should I contact them by email after I submit the report?
Check your previous answers, it could be that you have done one of them wrong and therefore "immediately/within a minute" would contradict?

That's what I thought it might be, but I checked and there's no way any of my previous answers contradict with it. I also checked again after reading your post, and tried changing some previous answers in case there was an error in the report, but nothing.

I have messaged them through the 'send query' button, but I'm guessing I won't hear from them until Monday, and the report needs to be in within 24 hours, so I may just have to send it with the next option down selected instead, and hope they sort it when they read my query.

  • I've just done my first ever shop with gapbuster and I'm struggling to enter my results.

The problem is the time on the receipt is earlier than my actual shop so I keep getting an error message telling me this.
How do I get round it?

    Thanks in advance

One way might be to enter the times which fit and so allow the report to be submitted, but then put a comment in the Comments section at the end to explain what the correct times were.
  • Thanks Scaredy cat - I've adjusted the times I entered and left the building and it's let me submit my report.

I think every report of this type has the same problem as the tills are never right.
  • Can anyone help with Gap job for the application form to be checked please - the job states £x fee and £x reimbursement but it does not state that you need to buy anything so is that just to cover the cost if they accept your application?? I have yet to dig out some photos but I am sure I will find something suitable ;)

I'd definitely email them again, or wait until they ring you, and ask the questions to be re-set because they definitely can!

When I used to do the burger and chicken jobs the screening questions used to pop up every 2 or 3 months and I'd just re-do them. But then I started Slimming World and didnt want to do the jobs anymore, so next time they showed up I purposely got them wrong :rotfl:. Even now, every 3 or 4 months the jobs re-appear with the screening questions and I just do them wrong again!

Here's the reply I got from Gap-

Unfortunately, due to our contractual agreement with the client, we are
unable to reset the accreditation questions for ********.

    So annoying

Be very careful with the burger questions!

The reimbursement is for the photos - you might have to get some done if you don't have a suitable one already. You get paid that anyway so will make a bit extra if you have a photos already.

You don't have to buy anything in the shop - unusual for Gap as they usually ant proof that you were there. I was worried about this when I did mine so I bought some stamps and got a receipt just in case - but I didn't need it.
