  • Hi, be warned that if you are unlucky enough for them to be out of garlic bread, which has happened to me more than once, i think it's almost impossible to keep under the limit.

We usually share the pizza and the starter and that comes in at just under the reimbursement, unless prices have gone up in the last couple of months.

Off to do my first Mystery Shop at Phones 4U! Wish me luck! :-)
  • wasn't expecting to have to write why I wanted to become a mystery shopper or give employer details.

What did other ppl write about ehy they wanted to become a Mystery Shopper.

I think that's so you don't try and shop where you work, eg if you work for McDonalds, you cannot MS them. Or if you're in retail, say in clothing, you could be biased for/against your employers or their rivals. Not good.

I mention that I used to work in retail and still do work in customer service (sort of, well security but we had to do a customer service course) and so I know what customers expect and deserve and the standards to which staff are or should be trained.
  • Hey all
Does anyone know when Retail Maxim usually pay? (It's not on the OP.)
I did my first job for them on Friday. :-)
    Thanks

  • Hi

I have my first assignments for Tern this week and would like some advice please.

After each section, you have to make comments. How much text do you write? Is it just a few sentences to cover all the relevant questions or do they expect an essay? Anyone got any idea approx how many words they expect? The jobs are pretty well paid so I would like to do well in my reports and any other tips on how to get a good score would be very much appreciated!

    Thanks guys
  • Help! Having problems here! I have 2 assignmetns for today and have come down with a flu type cold thingy. Hopefully it's not proper flu but I do feel like death. Anyway, that's not the worst of it - I was intending to do my booked assignments regardless - but my 2 kids have come down with this, too, so even if I wanted to be brave myself, I can't leave them alone while I go into town to do an assignment.

ABAi have kindly allowed me to reschedule for later in the week.

However, I am having major problems contacting GR. I've left 3 messages on their 0800 number and no-one has rung me back. I sent one email to a nice lady who contacted me with a query a couple of weeks ago. She said she'd pass my email to the right dept... and guess what their response is? An email telling me to ring the 0800 number!!! Aaaarrrgghhh!!!

I guess I just wanted to rant really - but if anyone can offer advice I'd be grateful - like for example, is this going to mark me as a bad shopper forever with GR? Has anyone else had this kind of problem, and if so, how did you handle it?

I really just want to go back to bed and suffer, I can do without checking my emails every few minutes and worrying about whether they are going to allow me to reschedule.
