I don't think anyone does receive a text message - I get an email to my iphone (;)) which is the usual email subscription.0

and they're gone... blimey, in seconds rather than minutes!0 -

Please, please, please tell me.
The only way I can think of it is to subscribe to the alert thread and receive email subscriptions to a mailbox.
To get that mail to your mobile as an actual message depends on your mobile operator. For example O2 allows its O2 broadband customers to receive mail to their phone for free. The operators will definately having something in place - might even be free!
My "workaround" is I use my Gmail email address for MSE and I visit mobile.google.com from it and then gmail. Even better, download a little java program via your mobile from Gmail and you can keep checking your mail from it - data chage is minimal.
Sorry a lot of chatter!0 -

Ridiculously fast! There was a good few on there when I was typing up the post and literally by the time I had clicked 'submit' on the post, there was only one left and that vanished within seconds. I managed to bag one a few weeks ago, didn't grab one this time though as I've got quite a lot of restaurant visits coming up in the next few weeks. 'Free' meals are all very well but if you have to buy a new wardrobe to accomodate the expanding waistline it's a false economy!0 -
I'm a bloke and I accepted a supermarket job in my area last night via GR.
GR do a couple of supermarkets, picked one up yesterday you do have to be so quick to get them though!
On another note, I'm tempted to take a hotel on RE but are they worth it? I know you get the cost back but other than that is it worth the hassle? It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

You could also do surveys to get a bit of extra cash. Have you joined Mums Opinion? They do surveys if you have a child under 3's or are pregnant x

I can never tell which survey sites are "proper" and which will just fill my email with annoying spam:rolleyes:
I'll check out mums opinion now tho as I have a 2yr old and another on the way (no idea why I'm having another :undecided)0 -

I am new to MSE, so am hping someone can point me in the right direction.
I am interested in becoming a mystery shopper (otherwise I am on the wrong thread huh) but what is concerning me is doing the self tax/NI stuff! I have read the first thread about this but still a little dubious!
How easy is it really in reality, should I sign up to one of the companies and then sort out the tax stuff or should I do a couple of jobs then do it. i know it has to be done within the 3 months. Oh questions questions.
TIA

If you look out for Josie on here and PM her I am sure she will be happy to send you her spreadsheet she made up which makes it much easier to do the tax bit.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
How long do payments usually take to come through from ABA-i, and is it different for the different clients?
I have just received payment for one job which I carried out a week later than another, but I haven't received payment for the previous one yet.0 -
Can anyone help with a printing problem?
I've printed off a questionnaire and coversheet back-to-back to save paper. Looking at it now there's a cover letter which I have to show but it's got stuff on the back. Is there a way to just print off that one sheet?0 -
