I have a job to do today for RE. What happens if I can't get onto their website to fill in the forms for it? I cannot currently log in.

I always e-mail them saying how frustrated and dissapointed I am. I then mention how disgusted I would be if they deducted me 2 points for a late submission. As they need you to fill in the questionaire for them to get paid they always accept late submissions, especially when it's all down to one of there super website upgrades. They are not like GAP who would just sack you on the spot!

    Jewelery / pawn shops

OK, we were both just trying to be helpful here - comping girl, with your alert, yes fine and me just pointing out to people that some of them may be pawn shops and not just a straight forward jewelery shop and just to beware.

The two I saw for S Yorks - Sheffield and Castleford were for pawn, so obviously the others were not. But these two both start by saying "You have an item of jewelery which you wish to use as collateral to borrow money.." (call me old fashioned but I'd call that pawning). In fact Castleford is still on there.

There must have been other jewelers on there as well, that had gone by the time I logged on. These two were for "HB" but I've not seen any other jewelers on there.

OK, enough now I reckon and I wasn't having a go at comping girl, just didn't want anyone to accept it rashly thinking it was a straightforward shop. These ones always hang around for a while - wonder why? :D

With GAP, if an expressed assignment is showing as 'Approved' does that mean that they have no immediate problems with it? Or is there a chance I'll get a query still?
  • Did anyone do a "posh" beauty store job for Catalyst in January? I did one on the 9th, and it still isn't showing as having been read even though a toy shop job I did for them 2 weeks ago has already been read and passed.

I did contact them about 3 weeks ago to ask if it had been overlooked and they said that they review these reports in conjunction with another company, so when they have finished looking at my report a comment will be sent to me with my shopper grade, but surely they should have done so by now?

They don't pay until the 25th of the month following the job (ie a job done at the beginning of Jan doesn't get paid until the end of Feb which means I'll've been waiting almost 2 months for my reimbursement), and it's now looking as if it's not going to be done in time.

Anyone had a similar experience with them?

Can anyone help me with a quick question about restaurant assignments? If its an assignment which involves taking other people with you, do I the MS have to do all the ordering or can my friend/child order their own food and drink with the server?

    Thankyou!

Personally, I've always just ordered my own food and my OH ordered his himself as normal. As long as it's all on the same receipt at the end, I've never had a problem.
    HTH!
