  • There was a casino job for Cardiff on TNS but you had to be an experienced Casino player. Bum! I'll have to become a more experienced gambler ;)
  • Nice one. I wasn't encouraged to pick up the bunny. I must look like the type of person who doesn't do animals (hence why we've only got a goldfish!!!). The pet shop was miles away from me but I managed to get 3 jobs there so don't really want to go back. I've got another fish bowl so I'm going to see how this fish lasts in the bowl before transferring him over. Hopefully my report will be OK so at least I'll get my money back. Anyway let's hope whoever has bookies jobs on today wins. Was anyone offered a free bet to guess the goals to win £1,000?

Yup, even getting 1 of the result correct gets you a free bet though, so it could turn out ok :)

Sorry to hear about the goldfish ellie, did you feed it nuggets or muesli? It might not have got all the nutrients from the muesli you know  . Seriously, hope you managed to get a replacement in time.

Does GFK have a minimum spend if not specified? I have just done a homeware shop and bought a wooden spoon for 39p :D , hope that is going to be ok. Can't find anything anywhere on this at all.. Thanks!

  • Afternoon. Has anyone noticed on RE that any recent jobs have been put through but payments have not been added to your account? I have 3 that I have had the points awarded for, but they're not appearing on payments pending...

  • I've still got 2 payments pending for RE. One is nearly a week old so hope it goes through soon.

Did manage to find another goldfish but this one has a few black specks so hoping DD doesn't notice lol

Do they show up in 'pending' though? My payments aren't showing anywhere.

Dear god someone was right about the RE questionnaire on the pet shop job. Why do they need to know the best part of the job and then list your entire visit. A lot of these questions are yes and no but then you have to give more detail. I know I read the brief before I did the job but looking at it again it is unnecessary to ask these questions over and over again

Are you absolutely sure you have to put a comment in all the boxes? I've just done one of their sports shops one and there's a comment box for every answer, but only about 4 or 5 go red after your answer and request a comment.

If it's not clear, I always do it without first and then click "show unanswered" to see if there are any that need comments, rather than putting a comment in every box.

With the pet shop one it specifically says 'detailed comment required for each apect of your answer' or words to that effect. Some of the questions have 4 or 5 yes/no sub questions to them and they want details for all. This is as well as the usual rubbish they want answers for. It's no joke, believe me!

Hope you don't mind me commenting, but you shouldn't really keep goldfish in a fish bowl. Goldfish are very messy and produce a lot of waste, which will build up very quickly in a small bowl. The shape of the bowl means there is a very small surface area to the water, which reduces the amount of disolved oxygen in the water. It's common for goldfish to die from ammonia poisoning or lack of oxygen in bowls. As there is only a small amount of water in the bowl, it is more prone to temperature fluctuations as your room warms and cools which can stress fish. It's also a boring environment for a goldfish who like swimming as there is nowhere to go and nothing to do! They grow quite quickly too and will soon outgrow a bowl.

Ideally for goldfish, you need a decent sized tank with a filter to clean out the waste and keeping the water moving to help with the oxygen levels. They like gravel on the bottom to pick around in, and things like plants and ornaments for them to swim around and hide in. Real plants add oxygen to the water too during the daylight.

Used to keep goldfish and they will last for years if you have them in a decent sized tank.
Here I go again on my own....

i got the free bet - i wasn;t sure if it was in the notes not to do it but i did it anyway!!

i am going to check them in a bit and see if i won.

i only got offered this in the first shop though. the second didn't even mention it.

i was surprise how easy the bookies job was. i was dreading going in the shop but none of the men in there even looked away from the screens never mind wonder what i was doing in there!!
