The Mystery Shopping thread - part 6

I got training to work for ABa QM and the training was very good and all the staff I came into contact with were lovely. Unfortunately I couldn't afford to work for them. I live in a rural area, and was expected to do 200-300 mile trips over one or two days. Although travel expenses are paid it would have meant that I was working for between £10-30 a day for a full days work, not to mention the wear and tear on the car. If you live in a city/big town I guess it would be different.
Thanks for that, i have to go next week, should be good!!0 -
there is a phone job on RE that needs to be done by 12. I'd have a go but dont think I will get through the instructions by then but I guess some of you will have called it already. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0

If its the pet shop I'm thinking of then they have a pretty bad reputation for selling live animals so you might want to look elsewhere. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -

Sorry to hear that
Take it back to the shop with a sample of your tank water. They'll test your water to make sure there was nothing sinister in there, and check the fish to see if there are signs of a contagious disease so if necessary they can treat the other fish in the tank it came from. I think you can get a refund/replacement in the first three days, but I'm not sure so you'll have to check with them.
Can you tell I've done fish scenario's before?
I did my local pet shop as I needed to go for dog food anyway. I got a Julian Clarey wanabee telling me about rabbits and he was doing things like touching my arm and saying "we'll just pop you over here dear, and I'll get one of the fluffies out for you to stroke". It was really hard to keep a straight faceHere I go again on my own....0 -

Nice one. I wasn't encouraged to pick up the bunny. I must look like the type of person who doesn't do animals (hence why we've only got a goldfish!!!). The pet shop was miles away from me but I managed to get 3 jobs there so don't really want to go back. I've got another fish bowl so I'm going to see how this fish lasts in the bowl before transferring him over. Hopefully my report will be OK so at least I'll get my money back. Anyway let's hope whoever has bookies jobs on today wins. Was anyone offered a free bet to guess the goals to win £1,000?0
