Thanks Bryss it worked, the problem was that in the selection box there were FIVE "Offered cash\cash withdrawal options"!!! I jsut had to pick the right one

I know - it drove me nuts the first time I did one, & even after doing loads of them now, I still get caught out & forget to tick the right box!!:o

I had the same problem, that Gap questionnaire can be so unclear sometimes.

I've edited my post - a little -the company is genuine but to get an email of that calibre when I've never received a job from them despite being with them for over 2 years, just raised an eye brow.

How do you know they're genuine tho, if you've not done any work for them? Still seems extremely dodgy to me, esp as you say it'd be a first job - to ask you to shell out £300 with no prior work for them and nothing in return except the fee (I mean like a flight or hotel stay). There's no way I'd risk it!

Who is the company? Then maybe others can say if they've done any work for them and we'd have a better idea?

Also the hotel visits on RE, how does that work? It appears that you cant make any money as you only get a reimbursement for your receipt?

As already said it's just reimbursement - but assuiming you're looking at the same one as me in Cleveland - wow! What a reimbursement?!? I know we don't mention fees, but don't think there's any restriction on mentioning how much you can spend / i.e. your reimbursement at this hotel is £250.

Pity it's a weeknight and only for one, or I might have been able to tie it in with the footy too (I need something to cheer me up after watching the Boro!!:rotfl: )

Ok, come on everyone, who's got a great football tip for me to place tomorrow at my betting shop visit?!? :D

As others have said, best to have 3 shops if you can, then you're guaranteed a winner, with win, lose or draw.

if you want a long shot, how about Middlesbrough to win - it could be about 20-1 on their current form! :rotfl: (Sorry for the gallows humour here....)

It's becuase I have seen it mentioned in this thread before - I think I even asked if the company still gives out work - and after my post, someone did mention they've done shops with them before. I did check out the message headers to make sure they were no techy tom-foolery going on.

You can only take each website with a pinch of salt and if it was a scam then it would be a very good scam as they went into a lot of effort in producing a semi-professional website (in comparison to other mystery shop sites) and they even went as far as including a VAT number. Which I'm sure if some one really wanted they could check up on.

Had it come from another company? I still would not have done it. Far too much risk involved for £20.

i have thought of another bet you can do to guarantee a win with two bookies:

you can bet on under/over 2.5 goals. do under at one and over at the other and you will always win!

not 100% sure if this counts as a single bet as stated in the notes though. i am going to try it anyway.

p.s: it means there will be either 0,1 or 2 goals scored during the game (under 2.5 goals) or 3 or more goals (over 2.5 goals).
  • Dear god someone was right about the RE questionnaire on the pet shop job. Why do they need to know the best part of the job and then list your entire visit. A lot of these questions are yes and no but then you have to give more detail. I know I read the brief before I did the job but looking at it again it is unnecessary to ask these questions over and over again

That sounds good - who are they playing against and then I can bet on both sides to win :j

I've found the hotel jobs great, £350 reimbursement for the other brand of hotel. I know there's no fee, but when on business in central London the opportunity to spend that much is fantastic.
