With BI I dont seem to get past the pending application stage, I still havent managed to complete a job for them.
Also the hotel visits on RE, how does that work? It appears that you cant make any money as you only get a reimbursement for your receipt?
I had this problem with Bare, too. I was registered for months and months and never got allocated a job, they just stayed 'pending'. I'd actually given up on ever getting work from them. Anyway, out of the blue they rang me up and asked me to do some phonecalls for them. I guess maybe they had been let down by someone. But I've been able to do a few assignments for them since then.
I notice the current lot of phonecalls, even though they are 'self-assign', I'm not able to self-assign, they are showing as pending. My guess is this is because it's so close to the last lot of calls I did, so you never know you might just get a call from them if the regulars have all done calls recently, they might need someone new.0 -

RE seem to think the night in the hotel is payment enough as there's no fee. It will cost you to get there so you'll be out of pocket. It depends if you actually want to spend a night in the hotel with food included.0 -

Their whole system seems to be designed to make it as difficult as possible for us to accept jobs:rolleyes:0 -
I was supposed to do a job for Bare a few months ago. I had to make an appoint at a bank to discuss taking out a loan. It involved going through the whole application process in branch and literally taking it right up to sign on the dotted line stage and then making an excuse to leave. It involved recording equipment and I'm afraid to say I backed out when I read the full brief and realised what it entailed.
It would have been fab money (70 euros!) but I really wasn't comfortable with it and didn't trust myself using a recording device discreetly.
They phoned me with the details, I didn't self-assign anything.
It'll be a great job if you're braver than I am!
I applied for TNS a few days ago. The test was exhusting!! I haven't heard anything from them since so don't know if I was sucessful.0 -
I don't understand the BARE self-assign. It says I can self-assign jobs to myself (like the phone calls) but in the brief it says you must have a shopper rating of 7. Should I risk self-assigning?0

I've got two on tomorrow as well. Just going to find the teams with the highest odds and bet on each side to win. That way should get something. Did this last time and won quite a bit so we'll see what happens. DH was hoping I could bet on the rugby but told him no can do0
