Just be hard on these questions. If they're asking you to clarify a basic, obvious answer (i.e. did they say hello) then tell them where to stick their question, or ask how much they'll pay you to elaborate.

I've told them so many times in the past that if they ask a question that may need clarification (i.e. a yes/no box) then put a comments box next to it, so we have the opportunity to do so!

These emails irritate me so much as usually they give you 24 hours to reply which is unreasonable IMO

I NEVER see chicken jobs since I told them I was a veggie. Seems odd to have them removed if you've just joined and presumably haven't had time yet to tell them if you're a veggie or not. The client does not even appear in my client list. Oddly enough I can still see chicken jobs for a different client.

When you first do one of the little yes/no questionnaires for the client on Gap (you have to re-do them every so often) if you get one wrong (sorry but veggie is wrong answer for chicken!) you'll never be offered assigns from that client again. Gap say they can't do anything about it once you've submitted the incorrect answer, it happened to my friend with burger and she can't do their jobs at all anymore so be VERY careful when completing those questionnaires.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Did the colleague give you any other POS material? Yes/No

Determine how you would like to pay by confirming that they take debit card? Yes/No

Colleague ask if you would like to withdraw cash as part of your debit card transaction?

How the f*** do you clarify these beyond Yes and No!!!

I'm upto question 18 so i think I'm going to grin and bare it this time.
  • Nads, I hate that...You just have to say "Yes, I was offered this," "No, I was not offered that"

Jeez I've just got an email from Gap asking em to clarify the followign questions.

    1.Find out: Q No: - 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13 & 14.
    2.Match: Q No: - 16, 18 & 19.
    3.Compliance: Q No: - 38.
    4.Complete: Q No: - 40, 41, 42 & 43.

I think it would have been easier if they told me which questions I didn't have to clarify. (Never had this problem with any other company)

So annoying! Gap have done this to me a couple of times. I hate it when they threaten not to pay you unless you get the answers back within 24 hrs.

I did a job for Grassroots last week and they asked me to clarify a question - just a simple yes/no answer. Seems like such a waste of everyone's time!

Yes, I realise that NOW!!! ;) I'm not bothered actually since, being a veggie, I wouldn't eat their food anyway - though if I was starving I might consider their vegeburger (but only if I was really starving!)

I only mentioned it as an example of why whoever was asking might not be able to see that particular client. The irony is that I can still take jobs for the other chicken client because they never asked if I was a veggie on their little quiz!

Seems odd since the one I can no longer see, do offer a veggie meal, and the one I can still see, don't (at least not as far as I'm aware). Doesn't bother me though, I was just trying to add a bit of info that I thought might have been helpful to the person who asked.

I know its really silly, you were only being honest in your answers...I say its discrimination against veggies!

C_P remember that the jobs are designed around the businesses, not the people who shop them!

The burger place's main product won't be a bean burger so they won't be interested in conducting MSing at a cost of potentially millions to find out how well the bean burgers sell!
    True, true;)
  • I'm not complaining about it! I was offering a possible explanation, that's all. I understand that they only want meat-eaters. Mind you, as a side issue, that says a lot for their faith in their vegetarian option as a big seller, doesn't it???

Maybe they'd sell more of them if they didn't taste like cardboard!
