  • Their system has been peculiar today, I couldn't log in at all this morning and when I did it was sooo slow. Sometimes when submitted jobs aren't showing logging in and out a couple of times helps them to reveal themselves. That said, their system does an update at midnight and 12 lunchtime, so if you completed them last night, they should be showing up by now. I'd wait a couple of hours, log in and out a few times and if still nothing, I'd give them a call chasing them about 4 ish.

My holiday job I submitted last night has gone from the pending area and is nowhere now. I think they are having sytem problems, I had a whole world of trouble trying to submit the report, ended up being a very poorly paid job, but hey a fiver's a fiver!

Thanks Hollypear, just need to sort the printer/scanner and then join some sites. What would be a nice easy job to start with?

Slightly o/t, yup done the Northern area from Sharm 3 times now, this next one is from Sharm but going to the 'Southern' area to the Brothers Islands.

MS livaboards would rock, lol, but I suspect I'd not be eligable as where I work is a 'travel centre' for a well known dive holiday specialist.

Back o/t RE has finally let me up load my report, and there are once again jobs - but I'm sure theyre the same ones that were there last night.

And to add, they've already checked my report and moved it to the payment section.

Tirlittan, It depends in what part of MS gives you the most anxiety. Is it remembering the scenario? In which case try one which lets you use your own details and situation.
If it is worrying that you wont rememeber everything you need to observe then try something where you can take notes along, like a supermarket shop.
If it is that it will be overwhelming and you will give the game away then something where there is little interaction like a drive thru may suit you better.
Try to complete the paperwork as soon as you can so that any details are fresh in your mind. hth x

Thanks vicki. I'll keep on eye on all the hints and tips on this board and will come back when I get my first job. I think I'm just wondering how easy/difficult it's going to be and will I be any good at it? We'll see...

There's been quite a few GfK jobs in my area - but none at times that I'm able to do them  I'm still fairly new to MSing, so I don't know how this compares with previous years.
