RE have a message on their log on screen....
Unfortunately, over the past couple of days we have been experiencing a few server difficulties.

We understand some of our shoppers experienced problems when viewing, accepting and submitting assignments due to this error. The server issues have now been rectified but to ensure you are not penalised for late reports, we have applied a points amnesty for all `late report` points lost between 2nd December and 3rd December. This will be applied on a daily basis as some points will come through in the next few days.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and would like to thank you for your patience.

So hope that helps everyone who has reports to submit.... xx:T :T
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??

  • I'm getting really worried about this now. I've accepted my first job with RE and it's one where I have to spend up front and await reimbursement.

All these problems people are having with the website have made me really worried that I won't be able to submit the report on time and won't get reimbursed. Can anyone reassure me please?
I would not be worried at SC, they are reasonable IMO and if you do have a problem they will be aware of it and so cannot penalise you for that.
I would do the job and then hopefully more will come your way :)

No, I don't!!! I'm not bothered about the job - it's a meal at a place I wouldn't normally go to, quite a drive to get there. I'm only doing it because I've waited months to find anything remotely suitable so I can (hopefully) get off probationary status.

I'd feel happier if I didn't have to pay out for the meal. I mean, this way, if it all goes pear-shaped I've actually lost money.
I didn't mean to worry you:o It was my choice to do my report at some unearthly hour as I could have left it until this morning.

RE are well aware of their website problems so you will still get paid if you can't submit on time because of that. If you have a problem you can always ring them - unlike some companies:rolleyes:

I signed up for GAP a while ago but I haven't used them at all mostly because I was happy just doing assignments for Grass Roots. I got an email today telling me I was no longer required.

Not really bothered because I haven't used them but I guess I'd be annoyed if I did and suddenly got that email. I guess that means if I ever did decide to use them I wouldn't be able to?

Pound, the same thing happened to me with Gap today. The difference with me is, I have done a lot of work for them and I've often gone out of my way to do urgent jobs for them. I'm so annoyed about it as I had a lot of jobs lined up. I think it's very unfair to get an email like that out of the blue:confused: Has this happened to many others?

I think that they would allow you to re-register. You were probably auto-guillotined (well thats what we call a similar process at work ) as you had not accepted an assignment in a certain amount of time.

Hi Jessicamb, I would generally do assignments for them every week, at least 2. I did one just yesterday and had a few for today as well. I was miffed to say the least. The only thing I could think of was that I was doing too many assignments!!

Have you asked if they sent it in error? If you had jobs allocated to you then surely they do need you?

I emailed them today as I thought I deserved a bit of an explanation! But they haven't even bothered to reply to me. And they had the cheek to say that if I knew anyone in my area who wanted to join, I could send them a link. As if I would recommend them to anyone after being treated like that.[/quote]
