As you probably kow, fees cannot be discussed on here but MS flights are really a 'perk' and any small fee that may be payable is soon eaten up with an overnight stay. Unless you have another reason for making the flight, I would never do one of these jobs.

I have only ever done 1 MS flight - about 8 months into working for the company. It was a UK internal flight, just to qualify for an international flight later.

The new contract is with an airline which has international flights only so, I guess, I was lucky to get that internal flight when I could. Internal flights are no longer an option, so newer mystery shoppers may find difficulty qualifying for these international flights.

I would suggest that if you do work for an MS company offering flights that you are dilligent in all your other jobs for the company - always submit on time, do not abandon jobs and maintain a high standard in writing reports - aim for at least 8/10 (preferably 9/10) as an average shop grade.

Before any one gets really excited about these jobs I'll fill you in with the proper info.
The MS Co is BARE (as before). I've done 21 previous airline jobs with them.

I've done 1 of these new ones last month.

It's only a TRIAL period at present so no guarantee these jobs will 'go live'

It's by personal invite only (Not from me!) as they want shoppers with previous experience and good scores. They want to give the client good detailed reports.

The questionnaire is longer than the other one, though not as picky as any RE ones!

    The Good:
All transatlantic routes, with some nice destinations.
Can be any Class of travel
Ticket is paid for, so no need to pay out huge amounts.
    The airline is quite good.

    The Not so good
    No Fee
Small expense limit which is expected to cover travel and accommodation.
Dates of travel are set as are the class of travel. You get a choice in a range of dates.
All include at least one overnight, no accommodation paid. Some jobs require 7 days away.
    Only for one.
Some jobs require one to arrive at the airport 4 hours before T\O.

    How do you get one?
    Good question.
At present you only get asked so unless you've done the previous flights then don't bother.
However if you work for BARE I'd suggest you prove you are reliable and get good grades.

    PM me for any Q's

Anyone interested in flights - maybe sign up for OC, as they do a different airline and do pay a fee. It's domestic flights mainly, and if there is no return flight available that day they give you a small allowance on top of the fees.

Chaps can I just please remind you that it's not good practice (and against your contractor Ts & Cs with the MSing companies) to be naming MSing companies' clients - won't do the fees any good when said clients move to other MSing companies!

    Happy Birthday HP.

I'm still not seeing any many new jobs on RE - just pub and airside ones, neither of which I usually do. Is anyone else in the same boat since the system changed over and they dropped the search where you put a postcode in?

I'm missing the underground sandwiches as I love them, but I can see french sounding sandwich type place but it's in a place that I rarely go to and there's not many branches of it round here.
Here I go again on my own....
  • I've got exactly the same Becles - pubs and airside.
I've got my area as 5o mile radius just cos I'm nosey and like to see what's available but I wouldn't travel that far. But there's nothing under 28 miles showing up and I've got a feeling there would be something more local if I could still search.
  • I meant to ask about the underground sandwiches - is there an age limit for them because they've never showed up for me.
