I went to do it myself this afternoon but my 4-year-old threw a right wobbly and refused to enter to Grotto so I couldn't complete it and I know the company are desperate for this job to be done.
Can I go in place of your 4 year-old daughter?0 -

 eek well I did 3 of them today, did everything I needed, but forgot the reciepts were in the bag and gave my mum and gran one each when I met them later and guess what they ate theirs and threw iaway the bag. And silly billy forgot the receipts. :rotfl: Well am going pass them tomorrow in town, so even to buy them again, still a few pound up for each one, instead of walking past, plus when I'm in anywhere I always ask for receipt anyway.
:rotfl: that will teach me to be so sharing, should have kept them for my dogs. :rotfl::A The toughest form of mountain climbing, is getting out of the rut! :A0 -

I had expected the native speaker test would involve ringing up and making a recording over the phone - not on the computer!
Seems idiotic to me anyway. They rang me up out of the blue a couple of weeks ago and asked me to do some calls for them (which I've now done). Doesn't that prove I'm a native speaker???
Nah it is us Scots who speak the Queens English. I am Gaelic speaking but am fluent in Scouse, Belfast and Southern English. I even speak Brightonese. I do some Yorkshire too like "Been down pit.
My favourite is the Scouse accent. Trying to get Bryssn to teach it to me but I cant understand a bleeding word she says except EVERTON:rotfl:
I have always wondered why do some of you English say "It were raining" Cos last time I met up with Her Maj she said " It WAS raining here yesterday bloody cats and dogs and it took 15 footman to dry them so they didn't stain one's Axminster carpets.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

Is it just me or are there fewer and fewer jobs on Gyp especially in the South?

paulherts I think its just fewer and fewer jobs everywhere with them.
I am annoyed with them asking you to cover jobs and agreeing to do them then, when you go to get the paperwork you haven't been assigned it. They sent a email to saying they were wanting people who had never did the "pigeon service" jobs to do them and cancelled all mine for the month - gggrrh!:A The toughest form of mountain climbing, is getting out of the rut! :A0 -

I'm up north and haven't seen any new jobs in my area for over a month! What's worrying/puzzling is I've accepted a job with another company that has a suspiciously similar scenario to one I did for Gap about 2 months ago (same shop). I'm wondering if they have lost the contract?0
