MFI rant/warning

I would also like to know whay I should write to that guy for MFI complaints?

Anyway, they got my letter nad called me yesterday, apparently the supplier couldn't get hold of the material so they have no idea how much longer it will take, nothing's been buil dnad they have a back-log of orders so they said I could go down to store for a full refund, which I did and hten went over to Harvey's and ordered something similar, but better made, on the express christmas delivery, the sofa is built, in stock and in the UK so just need to wait for delivery - fingers crossed it arrives soon!

Once I wrote to MFI they completely changed, we very defensive but polite and apologetic. The manager took nothing to do with it though, probably for the best.

You are not the only one in this situation unfrnunately. We ordered our Sofa the 1st of august, for a delivery forecasetd in september, maximum start of October....same contacts with them, same holliday time for the manager, same same same same....we are becomingcrazy! the worse happened today, they eventually told us last week that the Sofa would be delivered on Wednesday (yesterday), so we felt released...but no news again, yesterday no one pick up the phone as usual...and today after 10 calls they tell us that the Item is faulty so we have to wait for the new stock arriving apprently next week and that we are number 6 on the delivery list ...You r sofa is probably in the same container than ours though... next time ever we are buying from MFI!

Good luck for your sofa, hopefully we wll all receive it next week !

news today about this never end story...There is actually no date provided about the arrival of the container of the sofa's...This faulty thing was a complete make up from MFI in order to make us wait more (Rant is a good title), So they proposed us today to give us the displayed one, which has been on the shop for 5 months ( 1000's of people probably tested it), without any professional cleaning beforehand, for 20% less, IS THAT A JOKE? no, it is true: Welcome to MFI !

My Father partner, so upset, went in the shop yesterday and shout in the shop, talked to all the people in the shop to tell them not to buy from them...told to the manager that it will be worse if we do not have any news soon, and today we had this amazing proposition ...

We have still an empty lounge , it s been four months, thanks MFI.
