you can get 'free' international calls on o2 with the companies like telediscount that offer 0844 numbers which come out of inclusive mins on that network0

If the Orange access numbers turn out to be short-lived ...
Most of the destinations there listed are landlines that can be reached much more cheaply by registering the 3 mobile on a 1899/18866/18185 account - ie from 1p or 2p per minute, on top of the use of inclusive minutes.
The only interesting piece of info is that 3 calls to 0871 cost 10p per minute (that's in 3g areas - roaming O2 it costs 15p). If this is true [and it should be checked with 3, as many providers' info on 0871 call costs is inaccurate], then making calls to foreign mobiles via 0871 numbers of other providers will be as cheap as from a BT line.0 -
The Three Price List is here http://www.three.co.uk/priceplans/index.omp have a look at the price guide pdf it seems to confirm what YCW say. Also from a Payg no 0871 is 15p at all times, and certain 0871 codes are charged at 15p a min at all times eg: 087132.
The Orange number route is obviously cheaper.0 -
***I have removed a couple of posts from this thread as no source has been given for the telephone numbers posted, thank you Board Guide***0

Thanks, mobilegossip. But, slightly confusing, it looks the other way round - 15p all the time on contract, 10p or 15p on payg, which is odd. Either way, I'm unlikely to use it; it seems rather as though they could also include several of their foreign mobile destinations; they still have some via 07744, but S-F seem to have dropped most on theirs.0

I emailed S-fone & they answered that they provide similar service for 3 users on :0871 919 1055
they also sent me a list of destinations & it covers a lot of countries...0 -
We're quite aware of that jamal - what I was saying was that S-F seem to have stopped all the European mobile destinations that they used to cover, and that these would be the only reason for a user to justify using an 0871 number instead of much cheaper options.0
