I made the mistake of selling my car on ebay, stating that the tax would NOT be included (£68's worth)...then went and left the flippin thing in the car. Resulting in me getting about £50 for the car. Oh crap.
I've left the car at the garage for so long now they've offered to get rid of it and give me £150! I've got someone also going to view it on Monday and ring me with an offer, I'm hoping he'll offer around £250 so I can at least cover the garage costs, so fingers crossed it'll be gone soon and I can draw a line under the whole thing.
Just a note to those of you wanting to sell for scrap, after loads of phone calls to scrap yards and dismantlers the best price I was offered was £70 and that was for a small 4x4, doesn't seem to be any trade in scrap metal at the moment.
Hi,
Its a Sportrak, P reg, petrol, A bar, Side Steps and in great condition for the year, possible 'big end' problem hence the fact I'm getting rid of it, garage fees are far above my budget at the moment!
