wrong tarrif
Options
just ordered a phone from onestopphoneshop last week. it was delivered the next day. reading through the document i noticed i was put on the wrong tarrif. as you can expect it is time consuming waiting in the queue with the customer service. can i ring orange direct?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

just managed to get through to the customer service at OSPH. their reply was to sent the whole handset package back. i thought they were just going to change tarrifs but its not as simple as that. the handset comes with a cashback deal. i think if i rang orange they might change the tarrif but this might affect the cashback deal.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

update - have returned the phone. rang them after few days to check if they have received it - they have.
had a message on my phone from OSPS. They told me that the phone is now in stock with the correct tarrif and asked me to call back. I didn't simply because there might be better deals in january.
a week later got a letter from the post office to say there is a package waiting for my collection. when i went to the post office i saw it was a special delivery package identical to the one used by OSPS. I asked the guy to feel inside it and it was a small box like a mobile phone box. i rejected the package. they have the nerve to send me a new mobile without my permissionProblem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problemsWell at least i learn something on the way

If I were you, I would accept the package. The way this company works you might get into a tricky situation by rejecting this.0

how? the OSPS might assume the package was returned because no one was there to accept it. By accepting it i have to pay another £5 ish just to return itProblem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

I mean you should accept the package and accept the original deal that you've signed up for. I have heard other people got into a complicated situation - e.g. getting billed from network for the package they have never accepted, OSPS not acknowledging the fact that you have rejected the package. By the time you have had some response from them they will say you have gone past the 14 days returns period.0

I signed up for a 12 month orange 1000 off peak contract. Web site says off peak calls to orange mobiles and landlines.
Get the phone and the invoice says Orange to Orange 1000 off peak. I queried it woth Orange who said the tariff I was on did not include off peak calls to landlines. Direct contradiction to what the website says.0
