    You should get about 90 a week, that's 60 JSA plus 30 IS approx. Also full CTC and CB.

    You will qualify for a 2 bedroom LHA, you have to search to find out the Broad Rental Market Areas where you live.

    Yes you do both need to sign on because you are both expected to be looking for work, you can get help towards child care when you find work.

    Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
  • I think you are wrong it will be at least over a 100 a week. For a couple with a baby you need more that 90 a week for sure.

    The JSA rate for a couple is £94.95 per week. In addition to this you will receive child tax credit and child benefit. Your wife will not need to sign on or be available for work.
