they make their money by giving you an option to offer postal insurance in your listing. so far that i've used it that wasn't working yet for the uk but i shant bother with it except for when i start selling lp's then i think it might make a nice option

    users aren't charged a penny :T

From what I can make out you can select the option but if you read the small print the insurance doesn't cover shipping from the UK. In the meantime , its free and although long-winded it does seem to result in some professional looking ads

how is it longwinded? i find it much faster than ebay listings and i could never get turbo lister to work for me because it always asked for a credit card and wouldn't accept my switch card, though ebay is happy to!

also, you get the free extra photo's in your listing which you don't with turbo lister

auctiva is all on one page, very quick!

I'm concerned that Turbolister wanted credit card details from you  It's only a programme for uploading to ebay, it doesn't require any information other than your registered ebay id and password.

well i tried it some time ago and it kept saying it need my card details and wouldn't accept my switch!

just as well i suppose then!

regardless, i prefer auctiva because of the pictures

i have a really good camera that takes superb photos and i like to include at least two in every listing (unless there isn't a point)

i find with cd's if i show the artwork inside i get higher bids ;)

i also sold a map once that was just beautiful so i took 6 photos of it and made a 600% markup!

i don't like ebay getting anymore money out of me than they already to so that's another good excuse to use turbo lister because i won't go back to only one photo and i refuse to pay 7p per listing for ebays templates (bit cheesy they are)
