how do i get o2 answer phone to work?

hi
i dont seem to have answer machine on mobile
how do i activate it?had sim a while used to have answer service but then i got missed call alert and dont think its working
only realised cos im looking for work and get calls and no messages!an agency said yesterday it just rings and rings

To set voice mail on dial 1750 and send.
To turn off dial 1760.

1750 sets to standard level, i.e. diverts if unanswered, off, out of coverage etc.

To access voice mail dial 901, unless it is set on your phone. Usually pressing and holding 1 will dial through to your voice mail.
