  • Thanks everybody!!
SS - I will try to follow your lead ....except with the bling of course ......:rotfl: ... you could wear it tomorrow in honour of my day!!!!!

I wear it all day every day, and only take it off to clean it!!! :D:D:D
Do any of your kids have heely shoes?

My DD1(11) & DD2(8) both have heelies. DD2 had hers for Christmas last year, so she was 7. DD1 had them for her 10th birthday. I got them on Amazon, they were about half the price of "proper heelies" They're not allowed to just use them any old time, and I'm really strict about not heeling in shops for example! Fingers crossed, no accidents yet. DD2 did fall on her a*se the first time she went out in them.
 why do we have men  he drives me absolutely batty sometimes

ok rant over, sorry ... but if i tell you guys i won't moan at him :o
    Lou x

I would've ranted at him.... Bloomin men, I went to Canada for a week, (well it was either a holiday with my uncle, or a significant breakdown!) That was enough to show him how hard it was! Plus being laid up for four weeks last year after some surgery.... my OH does not complain if it looks like I haven't done anything, because he knows how hard I do actually work! Threaten a week's break for yourself!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I think Pigpen's comment is probably a little more reasonable than mine!!!!! But I agree with every word she's said. :T

Right rule one of a successful relationship... COMMUNICATION!!!!!!!!! It says so in my psychology book so don't you dare argue... now.. tomorrow.. when he is more receptive you say to him...

'I would like to discuss yesterday evening.. While I appreciate you get tired etc it also happens that I too get tired.. and while you go to work I do not, contrary to my post count on MSE, sit at the computer all day long ignoring the world. I would therefore appreciate it if when you come home and are tired you respect the fact that I am also tired. If you help me get things ready, like feeding the baby, making up bottles, loading the DW or whatever then we can both go to bed early and get a decent rest. I didn't nag you last night because I realised it would have been counterproductive and you would have been unresponsive as you were tired, which is why I am telling you this NOW when you are less tired'

    And... discuss..........

(I'd have wrapped his dinner round his head, shoved a baby in his arms and said dress it and feed it, plonked the wash basket on top if the baby and said dangle that.. and just got bossy)
    Me too!

Feel I've caught up a little now, and am going to feed my face and clean the kitchen now. I'll be on for a couple of HHc's later if anyone's in the mood. Tell me when and I'll be there!!!

Maybe we should have a week of flyladies hubby swop!! put your hubby in the 'pot' then we can all take turns to pick one out, you take your new hubby home, and kick him into shape over flying and other household / child type duties, then return him to his original owner at the end of the week, with his report!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Bagsy Pigpen's. I'll whip him into shape for you honey. :T
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

You can't have my hubby! Yesterday he cleared my kitchen surfaces, did the washing up and cleaned the hob...then he helped to do the lounge as well :) He also cooked dinner!

And I still haven't done anything! Really should move as I'm getting wound up of the narrow mindedness of some people on another site.
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

I am off to the pub after I've washed my nest.. anyone coming??? By half eight this morning I had had ENOUGH.

Hubbys morning jobs.. dress self, feed the little 2 or 3.
My morning jobs.. Dress littlies, dress self, comb the girls hair.. comb self, make sure everyone has shoes and bags and lunches and coats. Sometimes I get to brush my teeth!

    Today...

    Hubby.. dressed self.
me.. dressed self, dressed littlies, brushed everyones hair, fed the little 2, found coats and bags and lunches and pe bags and homework, dealt with stepdad and his window cleaning stuff that I got ear ache for not washing his cloths when my mother had told me I didn't need to cos they would be back, and you can bet your life she will deny ever saying it when I see her... and missed going to college because he had planned a meeting for 11am Lord knows where and wouldnn't take the children to school even though this was discussed before I enrolled that he would take them Wednesday and Thursday.. Yesterday he didn't leave for work until almost 10:45 so why did he not make the meeting yesterday? oh.. that would be because it wasn't inconvenient or against what we have arranged. SO, I have paid £7 we don't have for Tiddles to stay all day at nursery so I could go to college then I can't go because he is a !!!!!!.

Mass poisoning/strangling/decapitation (delete or add 'and' as appropriate) of hubby's?????

Hopefully today will be one of the days he comes sneaking about and reading my posts as well.. then he can join and tell you how evil I am (like you don't know) and that I never even ironed his shirt for him!

    Ok.. shower and pub then!

Aye up chuck, gawd, bet you're seething.
