Hello all
No flying for me today as staying with my parents :j
Going to Ikea on the way back to manchester to get a bookcase and a desk, which will hopefully get rid of some of the piles of paper and books all over my flat. And a mirror which is bigger than a postage stamp, as doing my hair in the mirror we currently have is impossible.
Out with friendlies tonight for some drinks, yay! Have a good day everyone, I'm off to play with the new addition (my dad got a ferret)

Standing in the queue in W H Smith with envelopes, app calendar, diary etc when I remembered that I have a 20% off voucher valid next Saturday.
So I walked round putting everything back:j
Nice one Crafty...
I did something similar in B00ts...they are giving away £5 off No 7 vouchers again with every £5+ spend...I wanted to put £10 on DS phone (we are all on PAYG so I don't have a heart attack when DS or I lose a phone...DD is the sensible one in this household...the only non LIbran:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ) anyhoo I put £5 on, got a pinky then went to another till for another £5 credit and a pinky...plus of course I get advantage points...(I know this isn't the B00ts thread but this isn't a glitch - it's a money saving tip for flyladies buying chrissie pressies...:T
And I bought a new bag and loads of stuff but nearly fainted when I priced up the curtain fabric for DS's room...might have to tootle to Dun3lm to look at readymades - £45 for the fabric then another £20 for someone to make them up...I am NOT risking my amateurish sewing skills on expensive curtain fabric.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

toots xx
It's a little different from the 28 days to make a new habit. Apparently when we set out to make a big and ongoing change in order to stay on track you need to remind yourself or whoever else, every 21 days why you're doing what you're doing.
I really see this in our house. Everyone's on board for cleaning/budgeting/OS meal planning/economical food etc etc.... but after 21 days or so, everyone's kind of forgotten why we're doing it, and start to complain, and lose motivation. SO big reminders and talk throughs are necessary!
THe problem is, that it requires me to remain focussed and on track all the time, because it falls to me to re-motivate them  Thanks goodness for you lot, who do keep me more or less on track!MMSSB Club Founder Member

DD's bedding from last night has been washed but it stinks and is still covered in sick  So I've hung it out on the line in the hopes that the wind will freshen it up and put a call into my mum to ask if she could pick me up some Zoflora as I've no disinfectant and the house STINKS of sick even though I've had the windows open all day

The 'bits' should shake off.. but don't stand too close or they flick on you.. then rewash it a bit hotter.. do you have any dettox or febreeze or stardrops? a TINY bit of stardrops or a sploosh of the others would do instead of disinfectant.
I'd give the marked area a scrub in the sink before rewashing too.. at least the bits will be off..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
