Looking for combo ISP/phone NOT Bulldog

I want to change my ISP/phone provider from Bulldog. Can anyone please advise on the best combo ISP/tel. I am currently on a £40/mth package. I'm looking for a combo at this price or less, but need good service when things go wrong. I have read the boards and checked out a few recommendations but it seems because Bulldog is on a different kind of system, it's not compatible with many other ISPs and diffilcult/long-winded to change over, so makes things trickier.
P.S. For others who are changing ISPs, do not get caught with the 'cheap' promises by Bulldog. Once you have signed with them, they do not give a ****. If you ever encounter problems, you will be chasing your tail trying to get anyone to help. The so-called 'customer service' reps are WORST I have ever encountered. I've not had a phone connection for going on 9 days now. They took a week to get in touch with me after my innumerable complaints falling on deaf ears (and only because I threatened them by reporting their modus operandi to Oftel).
Please help. Thanks in advance.

I forgot to mention, I'll need an ISP with min. 2MB, unlimited, 'always on' connection, and inclusive local/national calls.0
