I was really worried but I managed to do over Barclays, Abbey National and Halifax. I received £590
Fab! I'd be happy with that! :) I'm a bit annoyed with myself 'cos I can't find my Barclays statements anywhere- I know I have them because I don't throw anything away and I have them all as far back as 1998! Grrr

Does anyone know if Barclay's charge for copies of statements? Thanks :)
  • i have had a bank of scotland card for about five years, dont use it anymore but cant pay it off have accumulated late credit card charges over the years but dont know how much, can i just claim with a guess figure to get them back, and they will go through my statements
  • i have had numerous charges for late payments over the years with bank of scotland but dont have all the statements sometimes even a day late can i request all past statements to add them all up will they charge me thanks:confused:

I wouldn't guess, you may be missing out! The address for bank of Scotland is:

    Bank of Scotland aka HBOS

    Date Protection Manager
    Trinity Road
    Halifax
    West Yorkshire
    HX1 2RG

I think the most they can charge is £10. Read through Martin's article on how to reclaim the charges. I have, I just need to stop being a wuss and actually do it! :rotfl:

Next step: Claim back Barclays current account charges, will write letter at weekend and print on Tuesday when back at work. (got a few days holiday! :j ) Actually, may have to wait 'til pay day as don't have £10 spare right now. Depressing.
