hi guys been lurking the past couple of day as had nothing interesting to report

    Nikabella and Gymfiend congrats:j:j

    Confuzzled well done on passing:D

I was hoping someone can help me with the CBFM I have had a funny month this month.:o

I started using the CBFM last month and starting testing when it asked from CD5 and had the LH surge (2 bars - high fertilty) around CD9 / 10 (need to keep a diary now!) and OV'd at day 12 adn AF arrived on CD30..this was ok i think!!

this month, it asked me to test again from CD5 and i have had 2 bars since CD5 and am now on CD15.. can i have an LH surge this long???
i still havent OV'd but i know this can vary.. the thing is last time i had an LH surge or 2 bars i am sure i saw a line on the stick.. the thing is i dont remember if the line was close to the end or towards the middle of the monitor as i had another line when i ov'd... i had a line today??:o

not sure if my monitor is broken or is it me thats broken?!!

can some one help me out as i am soo confused and not sure was to do as i have now run out of sticks and it says not to use sticks from a different pack.. so do i use a different pack and risk or wing it??

    ok rant over.....

ok one more!! OH has man flu:mad: and driving me nuts...

righto, firstly, it goes "high" when your oestrogen rises, not your LH. It goes "peak" when it detects the LH surge. Your oestrogen rises up to a week before your LH surge. I had a funny month once where I had 1 low stick, 8 high sticks then 1 peak stick. You cant use the bars on those sticks like ovulation sticks, its not the same and it will just give you misleading information and do your head in!

Also you can have more than one LH surge per cycle, but you only ovulate once per cycle. It could be that your body was prepped and triggered the oestrogen rise, but maybe something (underlying illness? vague fluey stuff?) stopped the LH surge or at least delayed it.

I wouldn't worry unduly about it, maddening as it is! Also, how many sticks have you used? If you've used 10 and it still wants some it will ask for 10 more and you are ok to use 10 from another box. If it just wants the odd one or 2 I'd probably chance it anyway (but that's just me!:p)

    Also: way to go confuzzled!!!

Congratulations Nikabella - that's great news.
Confuzzled - well done! It took me three goes, but a whopping 9 years to pass mine.
