We were supposed to be doing final smep bd'ing tonight but dh can't face it again! It is 3dpo so can't see it will hurt.

hows the smep going? i mentioned it to OH he said it was a bit mechanical and would take all the fun and spontainuity(sp?) out of it but hes one of those "if it happens..." people:mad:

Yes, consider me well and truly slapped. I should know better - but I just couldn't get out of work today to grab anything. On the plus side I had lots of water, so my skin should be shiny and plump tomorrow

Must take vitamin and folic acid pills while I'm sitting here, otherwise I'll go to bed and forget...

we've found it alright. A few months ago I went through a very obsessed phase and ended up getting very het up which in turn led to dh feeling the pressure. So we took a step back and committed to making it fun rather than a chore. Of course it's not spontaneous but we still get in the mood and have a good time.

We aren't spontaneous any more either, it is now more like needs must when our paths cross. Will be hard to pin us both down to go and see about getting some help, but I'm determined we'll at least try to!

As an aside, just glanced at some of the regular threads - so many of them are now discussing MJ's death - it is kind of freaky to see!

yeah madmac i noticed your post on 12m+ i have a wee read thru there from time to time goodluck with it all.
The doctor mentioned it as a last resort with us when we talked to him if they manage to find a problem but my sister has already talked to me about surrogating for us as well as she loved being pregnant. We said if in 5 years we still got nowhere we should find out about it.

Been trying to talk OH into trying something new like smep or preseed as we been trying for a fair while without any luck. Im only 23 and OH is 24 and should be in our prime so obviously theres something up with the way were going but he doesnt seem interested in trying anything but still gets upset when it doesnt work

Men are often the worst ones for burying their head in the sand and pretending everything is OK really, but I just introduced things like the OV tests, temp charting and preseed slowly and without a fanfare and he didn't really bat an eyelid - doubt if he even noticed right away! I'm 99% certain our problem is him, not me anyway :rotfl:

What a kind sister you have, that is one hell of an offer. I'm lucky if my sister lets me borrow a scarf!
