My first AF was on CD28, the next on CD19 and the next on CD29. I hope it'll settle down now.
LeopardLady - sorry to see you got your AF today, even when you expect it there's still a little hope, at least that's how I am!
When I get AF I then check the calendar to see when my due date would be if I get pg that cycle!Anyone else do this? I think I worked out 40 weeks from now would be either end march or early april - i've decided that would be a lovely time as maternity leave would be in summer!!! So lets hope there are lots of march/april due dates coming out of thie thread:D
Madmac - thanks for the advice on viewing avatars!
Cos I am new I still have the VIP access to FF,and it shows that for me, OV last monday, due date would be March 8th. Which is quite weird as it's my mum's 60th birthday!0 -
so how do i work out when i should ovulate? if i work it out from when my next period would be on the pill it works out as mon/tues next week which is 14days before? soo confusing!Crafting for 2009 items doneOne patchwork blanket, two neck supports, one tea cosy, one knitted bunny, one knitted egg!0

If you've just come off the pill you probably won't have exactly the same length of cycle. Generally you ovulate around 14 days before your period is due but you won't know exactly when your period is due.My first post pill cycle was 32 ish days, but everyone is different.
Are you temping or monitoring your cm?0 -
to be honest we have literally just decided to start and i think we are gonna just see what happens this month and work from there. we get married september so i want to try and get the hang of whats going on with my body before we take it really seriously. how do i temp?xCrafting for 2009 items doneOne patchwork blanket, two neck supports, one tea cosy, one knitted bunny, one knitted egg!0

I let my first cycle pass first before I started trying to chart too, but I think it's helping me to understand my body a bit better, especially since my cycles haven't settled down yet.
If you want to temp, you need to get a basal body thermometer (ebay!) and take your temperature as soon as you wake up every morning. You then record your temps on fertility friend ( or any other website) which will help identify when you ovulated as your temperature should rise noticeably after ovulation. Unfortunately you can't tell until after using temps but it makes it a lot easier to work out what is going on, when af is due, when to focus your attempts next month, etc.
You can also monitor your CM and cervical position to try and determine when ovulation is approaching - your most fertile cervical fluid is very similar to raw egg white in consistency and stretches between your fingers.

hi guys/girls not sure what im after when posting this really just to get it out there i suppose, find it hard to talk in my family.
me and hubby were expecting last year and the due date would of been the 26th june (fri) which is also my 30th birthday, we had a miscarriage 12 weeks into the pregnancy, found out the day before my 12 week scan as i was bleeding and went in anyway took over a week as they sent me home to wait and ended back in as emergancy through blood loss and pain and passing out and ended up having surgery and blood transfusion, all pretty messy and traumatic, since its my due date have been thinking about it alot but other half doesnt know what to say apart from it happened for a reason, and yes i know that but it doesnt stop it hurting, we already have two boys aged 9 and 7 and one minute i want to try again and the next i dont, we have a nice little life, we both work and the boys get what they want to a point and if we have another baby it will definatley tighten the purse strings a lot, my hubby says if i want one he wants to do it now as he feels he is getting to old (he is 43) and has also been looking into a vasectomy for when i have made my mind up either way. i do want another baby because i love the baby stages but they dont stay that way for long and i would have to go back to work so find a nursery or childminder which my mother in law says is selfish. and my time with the children i have now would be limited more, i start work at half seven but am alaways there to pick them up from school and i get all the holidays off, we already find it financially difficult for booking holidays and big days out but everything else is fine ie mortgage, bills, shopping etc, i feel like im being selfish in not being able to give other half a definate answer either way but one minute i want another baby and the next i dont, its all talk about babys on my side at the mo as my niece has just turned one and they are planning another baby at the moment as well, sorry i know its long (and confusing) thankyou for readingnow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0 -
mirrorimage, im in exactly the same position as you, we started TTC a few months back and im soooooo broody its un-true. However my OH has the attitude if it happens it happens, he is quite happy with our lot at the moment and whilst he would love a new baby 100% if it were to never happen he wouldnt miss what we never had IYSWIM,
we are financially the same as you, never rich - never poor, but have decided to try for another baby and let the fates decide. there is no way we would ever sit there and regret having a third child but i could easily see me with a hollow feeling if we DIDNT have another. My kids have brought me so much joy and love that im selfishly thinking id like more of that !!
keep posting and im sure you will clear the confusion

Morning ladies,
Welcome to all newbies
Well, I'm officially obsessed. I actually dreamt about this forum last night!!!! I did dream that someone got a BFP so I'm keeping everything crossed for this month for them nowI know it sounds mad but from time to time I've dreamt things that come true, usually minor things and I feel like it's de ja vu til I realise I actually dreamt it. One example is about 6 months before I started the job I'm in now I dreamt about being in the office, then when I went for interview I was really spooked! Anyway, mental Mary talk over!
I'm 5/6dpo I think, getting the odd stomach cramp but nothing else. Weirdly, other months I find I have a lot of cm post ov, but this month I've had none? Will google it in a minute, see if it means anything!!
Have a lovely day ladies, xxBaby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0
