blitzer why not get some cheapies from e-bay they take a day to arrive usually and will only cost £5 including postage, also you can get 10 or more for that. They are very accurate so worth a try surely? MSe afterall :)

The ebay cheapies are 10miu and the FR are 25miu.

So i think the ebay cheapies detect pregnancy sooner :)

Thanks guys. I have got some ebay cheapies left, but I want a "proper" one just in case I get a bfp and don't believe it (not very MSE I know!)

EA-you're right, the ones I have are 10miu,so they will be more sensitive, I just wanted to pee on a "ferrari" in case i needed to confirm a bfp (I'm only 4 dpo, I need to get a grip..)

That was our plan I didn’t want the added pressure of people knowing how long we’ve been trying if it takes us longer than we’d like. To be honest every time we go anywhere we get “so are you pregnant yet?” “are you trying yet?” “when are you going to be starting a family?” so it’s almost as if people are expecting it.

I am trying to lose a bit of weight so that if/when I do get pregnant I can be in better shape it also gives me something to channel my energy into and stop me obsessing about the whole ttc thing.

Ideally I’d love it if we could hit the jackpot this month or next as I have a very important event next May and I would prefer not to be pregnant for it. If only it was that easy eh :p

Yeah, I get constant questions about when we're having babies from friends that I don't see very often. I think they secretly like to have a link to a more "grown up" way of life, as they all still have more of a student lifestyle.

I've also been trying to lose weight for TTC. Lost nearly 2 stone between Jan and May but finding it hard to lose anymore now.

I'm on CD5 now, still got AF though think she's easing off a bit. Weird this time as I had loads of cramps in the 2 weeks before AF but not a single one since she arrived...weird. Am waiting to OV but have long cycles so wont for another 2 weeks or so. Going to go see my mum this afternoon as she got burgled yesterday when she was at work and whilst she says she's fine and she's well insured so no problems on that front I think she's probably quite shaken by the whole thing.
