    Duck egg would look great but I agree isn't practical and has been teemed with chocolate brown in every make-over show and department store for yonks so is a bit overdone. I would go for a rich purple. HTH

    Would you use a purple rug? I'm not being rude, I'm just curious? Did you see that make over programme with Colin and Justin and The Hamiltons? They used 'Magenta', but it looked just like purple to me. Scary....
