Is there any way to get a recovery/OEM Windows disk from Dell? When I bought the Dell I stupidly did not upgrade the OS to XP Pro (which I need for networking and IIS etc) so when the computer arrived I bought a copy of XP and formatted the HD. However, my computer is not running well at all, so I want to restore it but…

Thanks everyone for the advice, obviously the moral of the story is order the correct OS in the first place (e.g. XP Professional) and give Dell plenty of hassle until you get what you want! In future I am going to stick to the KISS principle (Keep It Simple Stupid).

2 heads are better than 1….unless they are on the same body!
