Davidboy, thank you for the encouraging words! It's not so much that I 'fear' any snipe remarks (water of a duck's back :p hehe), I am just annoyed with myself if I make silly mistakes.

    Dictionaries are here.

After you download spellbound, you have to install one.
When you first use spellcheck after that, you can click 'language' and English/United Kingdom from the option at the bottom left

I've just downloaded ieSpell but not sure how to use it. Do I have to click on it every time I can't spell a word or should it automatically check at the end of my post.
  • Opera supports the spelling checker GNU Aspell. To be able to check spelling when using Opera, you need to install this software as well as dictionaries in your preferred languages. Note that Opera for Macintosh uses the system spelling checker; no additional installations are required.

Go to GNU Aspell or GNU Aspell for Windows to download the latest version of the software.

You have to click on it every time 'check-as-you-type' is on their todo list for future versions

Go to Tool / IESpell Options
Under the Languages tab, change to english (UK)

You can put an IESpell button on your browser by the IESpell button accross
View / Toolbars / Customize and moving the button accross

You can also just right-click the editing area in the reply box and 'check spelling'

Hi Innovate - don't worry about bad spelling, I am the worst and I do not have any excuse. As long as you can make your comment understood, who cares. I assume there will be the odd teacher on going tut tut, but get a life I say.

    Go on type away!!

Yes, I seem to type very fast and submit the post quicker than I can click the ieSpell button! lol
