ofcom take note this is how a regulator works, read this too (Wanadoo and Orange owned by French Telecom have both been up the creak without a paddle recently)

If I helped you spend some money - spank me
If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:

I was just reading the response of Orange France [Google translation]. I wasn't really forming a strong opinion until I read this ...
nbPrice - the level of price for average consumption in mobile telephony is lower in France than in the principal European countries, including in the United Kingdom;
Orange payg tariff Mobicarte
Classique €0.55 per min all calls
Soir et weekend €0.35 off-peak, €0.65 peak
Orange payg in UK 15p per minute
... the French are paying at least double :rotfl:
The case applies to France only, and more than half this time was before France Telecom bought Orange.
But I well remember some roaming tariffs nearly doubling not much later, and some doubled again a year or two after that.
Let's see the EU sort out roaming charges now.0
