Blockage. As the amount of heat going in is fixed, for the water to be hot, the flow must be reduced. So, blockage of some sort or low water pressure. After the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?0 -
It may have a filter on the water inlet pipe that simply needs cleaning. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Try changing the shower head first. They tend to clog up. Do not try cleaning as this tends not to work. The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0

No need to replace the shower head, cleaning does work if soaked in limescale remover.

Turn off the power, disconnect the shower head, turn off the cold feed to your copper tank which will stop hot water flow.
turn your shower on, if water flows it will be the cold only, if you have no flow there is a blockage. this could be due to debris blocking the outlet from the cold water tank in the loft.0 -

Not always! Limescale remover only tends to work on some of the Heads supplied.
OH has over 1000 of these installed in premises and 9/10 new shower head cures problem. The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -

Your OH is charging unnecessarily for new shower heads then. Typical tradesman, quick fix and onto the next job regardless of the cost! Limescale will dissolve when the correct chemicals are used, shower head or central heating boiler, it makes no difference.
