02 Reception and Contracts

Can anyone help me. I have gone on contract with O2 i am three months in and i am now buying a house with my boyfriend and i have recently discovered that the recweption for O2 in that area is quite poor. I need a good reception as to start with were not going to have a land line as BT have told us it will cost about £80.00 o connect as its a new build house.

Is there anyway of ending my contract early and if so how much it will cost me or if there is anything that would improve my reception?

or if not is there a cheaper way of connecting to a land line cheap.

Any help will be gratefully received.
