Ive just been in monsoon today and tried on a bridal dress in there as im getting married next month and i thought it was just as nice as alot of bridal gowns ive looked at yet its priced at £60 (originally priced £200) so i wont be getting into debt for it! Im more than happy to wear it on my big day.0

I wore a Monsoon wedding dress (£40 reduced from £135) for our seaside wedding in Cornwall in September. Everyone said how perfect it was for the setting - 3 layers in silk. Strappy (and it was a bit cold) but I bought an ivory chiffon shawl for a tenner from Debenhams which was so versatile. Even fancied it as a veil at one point! The most important thing is that you feel comfortable in it. Other than that it really doesn't matter what anyone thinks - or how traditional it is. My sister-in-law wore a £2000 meringue which completely hid her stunning size 10 figure (if I had one of those - I'd be showing it off!). But she wanted all the frills and to feel like a princess - which she did. And that's all that matters. But you don't need to fork out 2K to do that!0

My friend got married in a dress from Debenhams originally bought to get married abroad but then changed because she fell pregnant. She was worried it would look odd but it didnt she looked lovely. Her bridesmaid dresses were from ASOS.com! Go with what you are happy with.0

My SIL got married to my brother in Jamaica in a Monsoon dress and she looked lovely in it.
Sometimes simpler options work better - if my OH ever proposes (look out for the flying pigs people and it suddenly becoming very cold underfoot!!) then I am planning to get my bridal garb in Evans... my sis bought her dress (expensive beaded etc one which was all the fashion 15 yrs ago when she married BIL) and she says she regrets spending so much on it as it wont be worn again...*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200
