£12,000 "transferred" from my Kaupthing Edge online account by BACS on Monday this week (October 6th) has just appeared -- in the last five minutes -- in my linked bank account.

I had resigned myself to waiting another week so the arrival of that money in the past 10 minutes is a great surprise.

WELL DONE TO EVERYONE AT ING DIRECT FOR UNBLOCKING THE TRANSFER LOG JAM.

Hopefully others will have similarly good news now.

Me too - just through - oddly, it is down as CHAPS/International although I just did a regular BACS

I've received money too! Whaaaahay! It was my BACS payment from Sunday - only £178, still got two massive CHAPS to come through - but at least we know it really is on its way.

They may be pushing them through as CHAPS at no charge just to get the back log out of the way.

Do you reckon as they have to manually go through them they might as well go through Chaps anyway. The £20 fee as i understand it is a fee for manual processing and it looks like all of our transactions BACS or CHAPS have had to be manually put through.
